English Shiur (class), this is a Seudat Hoda’ah (a thanksgiving meal), Hashem has done miracles for our host, and we wanted to give it on this honor. Parashat Hashavua Vayeshev. We read on this week’s Torah portion that Yaacov marries Leah, and eventually she has a fourth son, Yehudah, and she says, “This time I will give thanks.” Through this Torah portion we learn that we need to give thanks for everything, for the Good, and for what seems to be bad, because is also good!
